Canteen Stall Advertisement

Cedar Girls’ Secondary School is looking for suitable food vendors to sell a variety of food (traditional/non-traditional, halal/non-halal menu). For example Hor Fun, Yong Tau Fu, Mee Siam, Mee Rebus, Korean, Mediterranean, etc.. Our school is participating in Healthy Meals in Schools Programme (HMSP). Please refer to HPB website on HMSP guidelines for Set Menu requirement.

A. Basic Requirement for application:-

1.   Must be a Singaporean or Permanent Resident.

2.   Able to provide good service and quality food at reasonable prices.

3.   Able to observe a high standard of food and personal hygiene.

4.   Able to communicate and work in harmony with everyone.

5.   Able to be in personal attendance at the stall, during the whole of its operation hours.

6.   Able to provide healthy food serving, in accordance with HMSP food service guidelines by HPB (please refer to their HPB website for more information).

7.    Have prior school/catering experience preferably.

B. Submission:

1.   Please download and fill-up the application form here: Application Form.

2.   Shortlisted applicants will be invited to participate in a food tasting session.

3.   All completed application forms must be submitted together with the following document for our school’s consideration:-

a.    Photocopy of certificates of relevant courses attended for both applicant & stall assistant(s), such as Basic Food Hygiene Course (valid copy) by NEA and HMSP;

b.    Proposed food items with proposed selling prices (price includes fruit serving for set menu) with photos preferably. 

4.    Successful applicant will be expected to commence operation of the stall asap. Note: Stall license application will take about 2 weeks to approve.
